NTS Retail celebrates 25 years - an event for the whole family at Lake Attersee
25 years of supporting telcos and their shops
The year 2022 marks a very special anniversary for NTS Retail: The company is celebrating its 25th birthday! What started back in 1997 with the idea to create a software cash register for Windows PCs has since grown into a full-fledged commerce solution over the past two and a half decades. Now, the software, which was once called ’NTS wincash‘, is used by leading telco brands around the world to run their retail networks.
The organization matured into a well-established household name in the niche with over 90% export quote and an impressive client list. After more than 370 successfully implemented retail IT projects, the company looks back at an exciting origin story. The highly international team grew to well over a hundred experts at different locations. At the center is still the office in Leonding. From there, it was also that the NTS family started its journey in June with a very special destination: The 25-year anniversary party!
An exciting day at Lake Attersee
To properly celebrate the company’s 25th anniversary, a big party was set up at Feldbauernhof in Steinbach am Attersee on June 18th, to which the NTSers and their families were invited. In the morning, a bus took them from our headquarters in Leonding directly to the picturesque location, where the guests were already welcomed with drinks and snacks. The gorgeous weather left nothing to be desired and so the celebrations kicked off underneath a marvelous June sun.
The first item on the agenda was a relaxing boat trip along the southern shore of beautiful Lake Attersee. Meanwhile, a few brave colleagues also showed their grit and team spirit in a Dragonboat race.
A treat for all ages
The afternoon agenda included a few entertaining games, such as identifying different types of local timber or a quiz on the company's history. Our young guests did not miss out either: in addition to a kid’s entertainment program on-site, a bouncy castle was available for kids of all ages at the event. Following the delicious dinner, it was time for our CEO Günther Schrammel to get on stage and brighten the room with his look at the past two and a half decades, ringing in the festive culmination of the evening.
