Wilhering/Lagos. Etisalat Nigeria is NTS‘ first West African customer and also first customer to go-live with the latest NTSwincash release X3. As part of the pilot go-live, six shops all across Nigeria were equipped with the software.
Having decided to implement a new point-of-sales and shop inventory management solution, Etisalat Nigeria opted for NTSwincash to support their retail business in more than 150 shops. Etisalat Nigeria uses the NTSwincash Retail Suite to streamline their sales processes and unify the different systems in the shop to serve their prepaid as well as postpaid customers even better.
With the solution implemented, Etisalat Nigeria has been enabled to capture all payments for services, and effectively report to different levels of the Etisalat Retail organization by tracking sales key performance indicators in real time. This allows the management to react fast on changing business needs.
„We wanted a solution that delivers most of our requirements out of the box, is flexible, cost-effective, scalable, simple to use and maintain” says Otule Otuyemi, CIO at Etisalat Nigeria. “In NTS, we have found both a solution and a partner that will comfortably support our needs in the future.”
Based on the NTS retail hub, different existing systems are now directly connected and integrated in the solution. Due to NTSwincash the scope of new functionalities ranges from an individual postpaid bill payment interface to direct recharge of phones via eTopup or an export of sales data to a data warehouse.
